The trip has commenced for some. Vancouver! Here we are in Canada.
Lots of walking around downtown Vancouver, hired bikes to cycle around Stanley Park (good training!). then on the BC ferry to Vancouver Island.

Dragons Abreast Brisbane (Missabittatitti) paddlers and supporters are participating in the International Dragon Boat Festival for breast cancer survivors - Peterborough, Canada. June 11-13. Ooohhh such a tease for the sights I will see AFTER the regatta. Hope all those who are already travelling are having a great time and staying safe. Can't wait to catch up on all the goss when we meet in Toronto. Only 4more sleeps till I depart. ReplyDeleteDon't you just love Vancouver? - although it looks a bit wet. looks like you saw a bit of dragon boating at the 2005 race site. did you see any squirrels or racoons (cute) in Stanley Park? Keep up the training and don't forget to stay hydrated.
